Hi, I'm Elaini Ghalambor 👋🏻

I'm an American creator, photographer, and entrepreneur living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with my miniature dachshund, Millie 💖

I grew up in Oklahoma City with summers in Virginia. I went to Oregon State, spent time teaching English in South Korea, worked as an accountant for a political marketing firm in Washington D.C., and eventually made my way to Southeast Asia. This is where I finally stopped running and started building!

I've spent the last several years doing the kind of work that doesn't show up on a resume, healing. Learning how to trust myself, how to be alone without being lonely, how to build a life that actually fits what I want. Along the way I made things: an app called Nilo Budgeting App, a small paper goods company, a YouTube channel, and now this. This website is a place where all of it lives in one place, together!

I like slow mornings, long walks with Millie, cooking, painting, and quiet living. I like writing about things most people don't say out loud. I like building businesses that don't require me to perform. I like being alone and I like being known. I've finally learned those aren't opposites!

I'm not here to be an influencer. I'm not here to sell you a version of a life. I'm just here, sharing the real one as it unfolds.
